Product Description The design of the Asterisk Bowl begins with Portuguese artisans cutting strips of glass and layering them in a pattern onto a dome-shaped form. Next, the glass pieces are sprinkled with finely cut amber-colored powder and placed in a kiln. While baking at a lower temperature, the art glass starts to slump around the form creating a rounded shape and resulting in a stunning one-of-a-kind art piece.
