Product Description The Tribute Table Lamp is made of bronze with rubbed edges that gleam like brass. Very large and stately in scale, its shape is inspired by a Burmese offering vessel known as a hsun-ok or ok-kwet. These are lacquered containers used to present food and gifts to Buddhist monks at monasteries. Traditionally made from woven bamboo and coated with layers of lacquer in contrasting colors, these vessels are often highly decorated with gilded relief work and colored glass. The Tribute captures that ceremonial elegance in a modern luminary.
